Alabama Department of Revenue Offers Convenient Online Services to Taxpayers

MONTGOMERY, Ala.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Alabama Interactive would like to kindly remind taxpayers of the many online services available to help alleviate stress for taxpayers during this tax season. Taxpayers can now skip the hassle of waiting in long lines or mailing in applications by utilizing the many tax services accessible online. The following services are conveniently available to Alabama taxpayers 24 hours a day, seven days a week: tax estimation payments, tax extension payments, financial institution excise tax services, and business privilege tax services.

Having these paperless options virtually eliminates the Department of Revenue's manual process and provides a fast, easy, and reliable host of online services for Alabama taxpayers. The online applications listed above, built at no cost to the state of Alabama, are only a portion of the online services developed for the Department of Revenue through its partnership with Alabama Interactive, LLC, which began in 2003.
